Breaking: FDA Officially Approves Diabetes Drug Tradjenta

The Diabetes drug Tradjenta made by Eli Lilly & Boehringer Ingelheim has been approved by the Federal Drug Administration.

The drug was designed to be used with exercise and diet to control type 2 diabetes in adults. The drug was born out of a partnership of Eli Lilly & Boehringer Ingelheim that was signed un January. The partnership calls for the two compaines to co-develop 5 drugs for diabetes patients.

Tradjenta is a tablet. Tradjenta was tested by the FDA and was found to be 8 different controlled studies. The studies showed Tradjenta helps with blood glucose control.

Like all medicine, Tardjenta will be packaged and distributed with an insert that details the drugs uses & possible risks and side effects.
