Gestational diabetes

Gestational diabetes is a type of diabetes that occurs in a pregnancy causing the pancreas to limit the amount of insulin secreted. This usually disappears after the woman has given birth to a child. Although the women who are temporarily affected with diabetes, they become more vulnerable to develop type 2 diabetes in their later stage of life. These women who are affected with diabetes can have large babies.
